Size & Fit Guide
Getting the right fit means a happy, comfortable pup. Use this guide to measure your dog and find their perfect size.
📏 How to measure your dog
You only need a soft measuring tape (or a piece of string and a ruler). Always measure before ordering as sizes can vary between breeds.
🎀 Collar
Collar — neck measurement
Wrap the tape around the thickest part of your dog's neck. You should be able to slide two fingers underneath comfortably.
🐾 Harness
Harness — neck & chest measurement
Measure both the neck and the broadest part of the chest just behind the front legs. The chest measurement is your most important guide.
Measure the neck
Wrap your tape around the thickest part of your dog's neck, just below where the harness would sit. You should be able to slide two fingers underneath comfortably.
Measure the chest (girth)
Measure the broadest part of the chest, just behind the front legs. Keep the tape snug but not tight. This is the most important measurement for harness fit.
Check both measurements against the chart
Compare both against the size chart below. If your dog falls between two sizes, always size up for a more comfortable fit.
Two-finger rule
Once the harness is on, you should be able to slide two fingers comfortably under any strap. If you can't, loosen it. If there's more than two fingers of room, tighten it.

Not sure which size?
Always go by the chest measurement first. If your dog is between sizes, size up. Puppies should be measured again as they grow. Still unsure? Drop us a message and we'll help you choose.
🎀 Collar size chart
Measure the neck only for collars. You should be able to fit two fingers between the collar and your dog's neck.

▶️ Watch: how to put on the harness
See exactly how to fit the harness the right way round. This short video walks you through every step.
Key tip: The D-ring and logo should always face upward on your dog's back. The two padded panels frame the chest, with the belly strap fastening underneath.
Common mistake: harness on backwards
The most common fitting issue is putting the harness on the wrong way round. The D-ring should always sit on top of your dog's back. If the harness looks twisted or your dog seems restricted, take it off and use the video above to start again.
💕 Getting the perfect fit
Once your harness has arrived, use these checks to make sure it fits just right.
Two-finger rule
Slide two fingers under any strap. Snug but not tight is perfect.
No twisting
All straps should lie flat. Twisting means the harness needs adjusting.
Free movement
Your dog should walk and trot freely without any restriction.
Adjust while wearing
Put it on first, then adjust the sliders while your dog is wearing it.
Easy size exchanges
Ordered the wrong size? No problem. We offer easy exchanges through our returns portal.
